Three numbers decide whether a Cuban link reads luxury or costume: link width, plating depth and stone setting. At 14mm the VVXHQ chain sits heavy across the collarbone without collapsing, because each link is cast in solid brass before it is finished in triple-layer 18K gold plating — thick enough to resist the micro-scratching that turns thin flash-plated chains grey within weeks. Every face is hand-set with cut pavé stones, so the ice stays bright from any angle instead of only head-on.
An 18" chain sits at the base of the neck and layers cleanly under a crest tee; 20" lands mid-chest and is the most-bought length; 22" and 24" clear a hoodie drawstring and stack well with a second, thinner chain. When layering, keep both pieces in one gold tone and let width — not colour — create the contrast.
